Are you a woman who has interest in gaining more skills in solar and would love to learn while also feeling included, respected, and welcomed alongside other women?
We seek to build a community of women that includes curious newbies, committed learners, change-of-career seekers, skilled professionals, and others who desire to expand their technical skills in solar and connect with (and learn from) women in the process.
Ultimately, Solar for Women is interested in a robust and engaged network of women who resonate with our values, want to enhance their skills and/or offer their expertise, and be a part of the shifting culture for women in the trades.
How to connect:
Here are the current ways that you can connect with Solar for Women, while we are getting started:

If you are a woman, and a current solar installer or technician, please request to join the Solar Tradeswomen Facebook group.
Sign up for the newsletter by entering your email in the box at the bottom of this page.
If you are interested to share your story with us, either through social media, or on the website, please fill in this form with more information so that we can collaborate with you.
This might mean you have a story you want to write down and share in more detail or it might mean you have a great photo or video of yourself installing solar, or teaching girls/women about solar, participating in a celebration of solar, etc. All of that is welcome!
We aren’t interested in doing specific business promotions at this time via our storytelling, but we are happy to share the names of businesses that you work for that make up your story!
